A Day in the Life of Delski's...
Dave decides he can't wait for Tom to finish grilling.
He's going to drink the BBQ sauce straight from the bottle.
Dave swears he'd have washed the Meat Mobile
if he'd only known it was picture day.
These guys don't let a little snow stop them from cooking out.  Dave the
Butcher and Tom (the newest member of the Delski's team) tempt
passing motorists with help from Tom's friend Rick and his dad, Tom Sr.
Tom says he plans to fire up the grill every chance he gets this
summer.  That way when you run to Delski's to pick up meat for
your own grill, you won't starve on the way home.
Showing up promptly at 4:00 for his 12:00 shift, Rich informs the
photographer that he's not late for today, he's early for tomorrow.
You got a problem with that?
Gary says he's not worried about
dish-pan hands.  It's Palmolive!
Obviously the entire staff of Delski's has been stumped by this
customer's question.  (Insert your own Polish joke here.)
"Double D" busy making imaginary sausages for
the photographer.  Dave the Butcher says "no
problem". At the end of the workday, Double D is
going to get an imaginary paycheck.
Dave the Butcher says, "Stop right there or the pig gets it!".
Dave the Butcher putting a couple of Busia (Grandma) Haraburda's delicious Polish
recipes to use.  On the left, Kapusta (Polish sauerkraut) and on the right, Golembki
(Polish cabbage rolls).  For those of you new to Delski's, a Delski is a Polish Deli
(Dave made up the word).  Stop by soon for some of the best homemade Polish food in
West Michigan.  Dave does all the work, so all you need to do is heat and enjoy!
Kelly gets ready to show this table of jerky who's boss.
A father and son portrait.  Dave and Rich get ready to take their turn
as "Jerky Boys".  Rich is famous as the namesake of
Delski's most popular snack stick, Richie Reds.
Stop by some time and maybe he'll autograph a bag for you.
As a hard-working small business owner, this is one of the highlights of
Dave the Butcher's day -- ringing up another sale.  Dave says a sincere
"Dziekuja!" (Polish for thank you) to all of his loyal customers!
Delski's makes over 30 different varieties of sausage.
Here, Gary shows off his personal favorite, English
Bangers (as in "bangers and mash").  In fact, Gary
likes bangers so much they call him
"The Banger Man".
